Safety Systems Integration
Modern vehicles rely heavily on advanced driver-assistance systems, including ultrasonic parking sensors and forward cameras. The SLX Recon bullbar is engineered so these factory safety features continue to function exactly as intended after installation.
Integrated LED Lighting System – Toyota Hilux N80 SR, SR5 & Rogue SLX RECON Bullbar
The SLX RECON Bullbar for the Toyota Hilux N80 has been designed to provide premium front-end protection, integrated lighting and modern styling for Australia's favourite dual-cab ute.
The Toyota Hilux N80 Bullbar features four integrated 30W LED cube lights as standard, delivering outstanding visibility while maintaining a clean, factory-style appearance.
Two of the integrated lights connect directly to the Toyota Hilux factory fog light circuit, retaining OEM controls and functionality. The remaining two lights operate via the supplied plug-and-play wiring harness, providing additional lighting performance while remaining fully road compliant.
Each integrated LED unit features dual-function capability and can operate as:
LED Fog Lights
LED Indicators / Turn Signals
Designed specifically for the 2021–2025 Toyota Hilux N80 SR, SR5 and Rogue, this integrated lighting system improves visibility, safety and vehicle presence without compromising the sleek, low-profile design of the SLX RECON Bullbar.
The SLX RECON Toyota Hilux N80 Bullbar is also designed to complement a 31.5-inch LED light bar, creating a complete lighting solution for touring, off-road driving, remote travel and everyday use.
For owners wanting maximum lighting performance, laser-cut spotlight mounting provisions are incorporated into the top surface of the bullbar, allowing fitment of additional 7-inch or 9-inch driving lights.

Hilux N80 Protection Platform
Configured for Toyota Hilux N80 SR, SR5, 48V and Rogue vehicles outside the wide-body specification, the SLX Recon assembly combines structural steel protection with controlled factory-system integration. Buyers assessing a Hilux bull bar Perth installation receive a vehicle-specific package shaped around camera visibility, ultrasonic sensor placement, cooling demand and accessory loading. Model confirmation remains mandatory before supply.
Vehicle Interface
Across the frontal assembly, parking sensors and the forward camera are relocated into predetermined positions within the bullbar rather than left to improvised workshop placement. Factory visibility and sensor operation depend on correct positioning, secure mounting and a final operational check after installation. Compatibility must be recorded against the exact Hilux grade.
Structural Metrics
High-strength SS400 steel forms the principal structure, supported by CNC laser cutting, robotic welding and computer-controlled press-brake forming. Surface preparation passes through a 12-stage acid dip and chemical process before industrial primer and matt powder coating, while corrosion exposure and structural load testing support repeatable production controls.

Lighting Architecture
Four 30W LED cube lights are incorporated as standard. Two connect to the Hilux factory fog-light circuit, while the remaining pair operates through the supplied wiring harness. Each unit can serve as a fog light or indicator, and the bar includes provision for a 31.5-inch light bar plus seven-inch or nine-inch driving lights.
For owners comparing a Hilux bull bar Perth package for touring, trade work or regional travel, lighting capacity should be assessed alongside front-axle load and planned recovery equipment. More hardware is not automatically better.
Installation Accountability
Correct fitment requires bracket alignment, fastener inspection, sensor positioning, wiring protection and clearance checks around nearby components. We confirm the Hilux model, grade and factory equipment before supply and then match the Hilux bull bar Perth setup to the accessories planned for the vehicle. Installation should finish with camera, sensor and lighting tests before the vehicle returns to service.
