Modern vehicles like the BYD rely heavily on advanced driver-assistance systems, including ultrasonic parking sensors and forward cameras. The SLX Recon bullbar is engineered so these factory safety features continue to function exactly as intended after installation.
Integrated LED Lighting System – BYD Shark 6 SLX RECON Bullbar
The SLX RECON Bullbar for the BYD Shark 6 has been engineered to deliver maximum lighting performance while maintaining full Australian road compliance and OEM integration.
As standard, the bar features four integrated 30W LED cube lights, seamlessly incorporated into the bullbar design to provide enhanced visibility for daily driving, touring, and off-road adventures.
Two of the supplied LED lights connect directly to the factory BYD Shark 6 fog light circuit, allowing full operation through the vehicle's original controls and maintaining a clean OEM-style installation.
The remaining two LED cube lights are connected via the supplied plug-and-play wiring harness, providing additional forward and peripheral illumination while remaining fully road legal.

For maximum lighting performance, the bullbar is designed to perfectly complement a 31.5-inch LED light bar, delivering up to 6,150 lumens and approximately 600 metres of forward lighting distance. This creates a complete lighting package ideal for:
